Blue Nile Falls is a waterfall in the Blue Nile in Ethiopia. They are known as Tis Issat in Amharic, when translated, means "water smoke" They are located in the upper river, about 30 kilometers downstream from the town of Bahir Dar and Lake Tana. Fall is considered one of the best tourist attractions of Ethiopia are known.
Fall is estimated between 37 and 45 meters high, consisting of four rivers that varied from droplets initially in the dry season to more than 400 yards in the rainy season.
